We are Stacy Readal, originally from The United States of America, and Hezron Mbise, a Tanzanian, and together we founded Duma Explorer in 2004. As founders and directors, we combine three decades of experience organizing and leading tours in Africa. Hezron lives in Arusha, Tanzania, and Stacy lives in the USA.
Hezron Mbise (Co-founder and Director)
Hezron manages Duma's 150 employees and fleet of vehicles. He has worked for more than twenty years in the East African travel industry and is a native of Arusha. He speaks Meru, Swahili, English, and has traveled extensively in Africa, North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
"I've climbed Kilimanjaro more than one hundred times ... it's more than enough."
As Hezron loves watching carnivores, his favorite Tanzanian park is Serengeti since it offers the best opportunities to spot cheetahs, lions and leopards.
