Eight Day Camping Safari: Northern Circuit

Day One: Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha at 9:30am for Tarangire National Park. The drive to the park is about two hours, and you will drop off supplies at the campsite before proceeding on a game drive. Spend the afternoon on a game drive, returning to the campsite at approximately 6pm for dinner and overnight. (L, D)

Tarangire’s wildlife includes elephant, giraffe, and many species of antelope and birds.

Day Two: Tarangire National Park
Spend a full day in Tarangire. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Day Three: Lake Manyara National Park
Leave the campsite after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park. The drive to Lake Manyara is approximately 1.5 hours. Drop off supplies at Jambo Campsite before proceeding on a game drive in the park. Return to the campsite at approximately 6pm for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Manyara’s wildlife includes elephant, baboon, hippo, giraffe, and zebra.

Day Four: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Go on an optional early morning game drive in Lake Manyara. Leave Manyara at approximately 9:30am for Serengeti National Park. Pass through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, pausing to view the Crater. Game drive for the rest of the day, reaching Seronera Campsite at approximately 5:30pm. (B, L, D)

The Serengeti is home to the wildebeest migration, an annual migration of approximately 1.2 million wildebeest and zebra.

Day Five: Serengeti National Park
Spend the day in Serengeti National Park. Go on an early morning game drive at 6:30am. Return to the campsite for a late breakfast. Go on a second game drive in the afternoon. Overnight at Seronera Campsite. (B, L, D)

Day Six: Serengeti National Park
Move to Ikoma Bush Camp on day six. Game drive around the Ikoma area of the Serengeti. (B, L, D)

Day Seven: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Depart the campsite after breakfast for a final game drive through the Serengeti. Game drive on the way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight at Simba Campsite. (B, L, D)

Day Eight: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Depart the campsite at 6am for your Crater game drive. Spend several hours on the Crater floor before returning to the campsite to collect equipment and depart Ngorongoro. Drive back to Arusha. (B, L)

Ngorongoro’s wildlife includes lion, rhino, flamingo, hippo and many other cat and antelope species.
