    • A remote and wild park, Ruaha is more than 20,000 square kilometers in size. Game highlights include elephant, lion, zebra, warthog, and wild dog. It is also a birder's paradise, with more than 500 species recorded in this park alone.

  • Game drives and walking safaris in Ruaha National Park. Accommodations at Mdonya Old River Camp.

    • Boating, walking, and game drives in Nyerere National Park. Gazetted in 2019, Nyerere National Park is the largest national park in Africa. At 30,000 square kilometers, the park is home to the Rufiji River, the largest river in Tanzania.

    • Its delta has the largest mangrove forest in East Africa. Game highlights include elephant, lion, hippo, croccidile, and wild dog; the area is home to about a third of the continent's remaining wild dogs.

  • Go on a final game drive as you make your way back to the airstrip. Continue on to Dar es Salaam to catch your international flight, or head to one of Tanzania's many tropical beach destinations.
